How to Win at Monopoly Live
Monopoly is a childhood classic, first launched in 1935. Decades later, it has inspired Monopoly Live, one of the most popular live casino games available today. This thrilling game show is featured on many professional casino platforms in the US.
The rules are simple, but preparation and strategy can help you maximize your experience and winning odds. Continue reading for my best Monopoly Live tips.
Understanding Monopoly Live Mechanics
Monopoly Live is easy to learn and play. Start by setting your chip size—keep it small if you’re a beginner. The wheel offers six betting options: four “basic” numbers (1, 2, 5, and 10) and two “premium” options (2 rolls and 4 rolls). Place your bets before the timer runs out.
When the host spins the wheel, the pointer determines your outcome. Bets on numbers multiply your stake instantly, while premium options trigger bonus rounds.
In the bonus rounds, Mr. Monopoly walks a virtual board, collecting multipliers. These rounds mimic the classic Monopoly game and offer exciting opportunities for massive wins.
Monopoly Live Bonus Rounds
2 Rolls Bonus Round: Triggers two dice rolls. Mr. Monopoly moves across the board to collect multipliers based on dice rolls. Chance cards may add extra multipliers or cash prizes. Multipliers accumulate as Mr. Monopoly moves forward.
Rolls Bonus Round: Similar to the 2 Rolls Bonus, but provides four dice rolls. More rolls mean greater potential for Mr. Monopoly to reach higher multipliers.
Chance Card: A random bonus can be triggered when the wheel lands on a “Chance” segment. It offers either:
- A random multiplier applied to all bets, or
- A cash prize based on your wager.
Community Chest/Tax Spaces: May appear during bonus rounds. These can either deduct a percentage of your winnings (taxes) or add small multipliers/cash bonuses (Community Chest).
Mastermind Jake’s Strategies for Monopoly Live
These strategies are designed to increase your odds and prolong gameplay, though luck remains a key factor.
Strategy 1: Betting Numbers with Higher Frequency
The wheel frequently lands on 1 and 2, making them safer bets. Focus your wagers here to ensure consistent smaller wins and build your bankroll. If your budget is limited, prioritize these options.
For added risk, allocate smaller bets on 5 and 10 to diversify your chances. For example, wager $100 on 1 and 2, and $50 on 5 and 10.
Strategy 2: Allocating Small Bets on Bonus Segments
What about bonus segments? Of course, you are going to put some bet on these two options as well. However, the amount of cash you invest there should be even smaller than the amount you wager on 5 and 10.
I understand your concern; what if the multiplier after bonus rounds is massive, but your bet is poor? Well, if you can take a risk, then do that. When I gamble with a larger budget, I put a larger amount of money on 10, 2 rolls, and 4 rolls. However, in those cases, I can afford to lose. Can you afford the same?
The balance bet sizes need to exist. If you want me to tell you what to do, then apply my strategy. I do it this way: when I bet $350 per round, adjust the wager based on your financial possibilities:
- Put $100 on 1 and 2
- Put $50 on 5 and 10
- Put $25 on both bonus segments.
Even if I lose, those losses aren’t significant. I will not cry like a baby, but I will shout out loud if I win.
On the other hand, if I decide to take a higher level of risk, this is what I do:
- I put $100 on 10, 2 rolls and 4 rolls
- I put $50 on 5
- I don’t put anything on 1 and 2.
Strategy 3: Understanding the Payout Structure
Understanding the payout structure will help you develop the best possible strategy for Monopoly Live. For some reason, people don’t even make calculations, and they are essential in this case.
I assume that everything is clear with numbers. We will use $100 as an example to make calculations. Your reward will look like this:
- Number one: Profit is $100
- Number two: Profit is $200
- Number five: Profit is $400
- Number ten: Profit is $900
With bonus rounds, the multiplier is random, and it can range from complete nonsense to magnificent. Based on my research, the max win on this game happened four years ago, and it was 9600x.
Strategy 4: Observing Game Trends
Outcomes are random, but applying logic can help. For instance, after a significant multiplier from a bonus round, it’s unlikely another will follow immediately. Adjust bets accordingly, but avoid chasing patterns or making reckless bets based on past results.
Common Mistakes to Avoid in Monopoly Live
Monopoly Live players make three common mistakes:
- Overbetting on bonus segments: Simply don’t do that. Yes, wins can be huge, but you can lose your money in the blink of an eye. Stay positive yet realistic.
- Ignoring bankroll limits: A budget plan before the Monopoly Live sessions needs to be developed. Limits that you determined must be respected. Don’t make excuses like “only this time.” That can easily lead to addiction.
- Chasing losses: You lost, so what? Things like that constantly happen. Online casinos would not exist if we all won.
And Now?
Monopoly Live combines strategy and luck for a unique gaming experience. Stick to balanced wagers, manage your budget carefully, and enjoy the thrill of the game.
