Electronic roulette is a completely automated machine that you can find at physical casinos around the United States. There are no croupiers that will throw the ball. I consider this type of game less enthusiastic because of that. However, I have been playing it for 10+ years from time to time.

I want to make something clear. The odds are the same for traditional and electronic roulette games. So, that should not be your concern. The strategies I share in this article can be used for both.

Let’s get started with explanations.

Understanding Electronic Roulette Machines

Marine life is complex to understand, but electronic roulette isn’t. Still, let me give you an explanation of the mechanisms behind electronic roulette. That way, players will understand why roulette is worth their attention.

Mechanics of Electronic Roulette

The entire wheel is located inside the glass dome, so each player at the table can see what is going on. In most cases, there are around 10 seats, ensuring enough space for everyone.

On the electronic screen in front of you, you can set up your bet. The ball will be released through the electronic circuit air blower. Thanks to the sensors on the wheel, the computer can determine whether you have won money. I must say, it’s quite impressive to watch!

Random Number Generators

I know what you think; “The computer determines everything; it has to be rigged.” That is far away from the truth. Just like any other roulette table — online and offline — this one is supported by the algorithm.

The so-called Random Number Generator supports the machine. That software ensures that every single round is completely random. There is no one in the world who can manually set up who will either win or lose money.

Is there a proof of randomness? Don’t worry. The official regulatory bodies within states where gambling is legal to test the validity of the software. The electronic roulette could not be added to a casino if it did not pass all the tests.

Types of Electronic Roulette

There are two types of electronic roulette games that you can find. Each one comes with certain benefits.

  • The first type is the single-player terminal: If you are solitary, like an octopus, this game will suit you more. Here, wheels and play boards are usually pretty small. But there won’t be anyone around you that can bother you.
  • The second type is the multiplayer station: These are tables where I spend most of my time. As previously stated, there will probably be ten seats at the table. But it’s not surprising to participate in multiplayer electronic roulette games with less or more than that. Logically, this depends on the size of the table.

Advantages of Electronic Roulette

Why would someone play electronic roulette? I believe it comes with three advantages. I don’t know if you will be fine with them because that depends on your gambling preference.

Faster Gameplay

The entire gameplay is extremely fast. Before everything, all the players at the table can simultaneously place money on inside or outside bets. The entire process of wagering lasts for a few seconds. You just need to do a couple of clicks and the process is completed.

The break between rounds is shorter. The good news is that you can save your previous bets and repeat them with just a few clicks. That’s not something you can do with traditional games at land-based casinos.

Lower Minimum Bets

In my opinion, accessibility is the biggest advantage of electrified roulette. Believe it or not, some of them will let you use chips that are less than $1. This could be a pretty exciting opportunity, even for gamblers who have a smaller budget.

Alternatively, the maximum bet isn’t small. Experienced roulette players can also test their luck with larger amounts of money, but the limits are not as high as other roulette variants.

Privacy and Comfort

This can be an advantage and disadvantage at the same time. As I said, it depends on your style of playing and how exactly you imagine every gambling session.

No one can see what you played. The board in front of you is small enough to hide your decisions. It is not a secret that people copy the decisions of other players. If you have developed some specific strategy, it can remain a secret.

At the same time, chairs between players are not too close. Despite hiding your decisions, you also don’t have to exchange a word with anyone else at the table. Some people consider that opportunity comfortable.

Strategies Specific to Electronic Roulette

I already provided proof of the randomness of electronic roulette. The next question I usually get is – how to win at electronic roulette. Well, after years of playing it, here are three tactics I strongly recommend.

Adjusting to Game Speed

As I said, things are going fast with electronic roulette. You won’t have a lot of time to think about your next moves. Therefore, it is essential to start your sessions with a good plan.

More precisely, you need to organize your bankroll properly. Calculate how much money you can afford to spend for each round. It is essential to make the right calculations because that is the only way to prolong your playing. At the same time, you won’t spend more than you can afford.

Utilizing Machine Features

Before you even start playing, analyze the machine’s features. Firstly, refer to the statistics. There, you can see what was going on before you sat at the table. That will automatically tell you in which direction your strategies should go.

Contrariwise, focus on re-bet and bet buttons. If you start looking for those buttons in the middle of the game, or you start placing chips manually every round, you won’t be able to do everything.

Avoiding Machine Bias Myths

I need to tell you — don’t live in an illusion. RNG is behind every electronic roulette you can find across the country. All the games you get access to are tested and regulated by the official supervisors.

If you lost money, that means you were not lucky enough. At the same time, you may be greedy and haven’t followed the strategy you developed precisely.

Bankroll Management Tips

How to manage your casino bankroll, you asked. Well, you primarily need to know precisely your budget. That will let you make better future decisions. Here are three things I always do!

Setting Spin Limits

Primarily determine the amount of money you can spend per round. However, that’s not enough. Players also must know how many numbers (options) they are going to bet on.

Example: If you can spend $50 per round, you want to bet on five numbers, which means you can put a 10-dollar chip on each one.

I recommend you don’t risk too much. Start your sessions by putting the total amount on either red or black. When you improve your budget, start betting on more riskier options.

Time Management

Time is money, yes. But taking breaks is key. Short delays in your gameplay are going to help you recharge your batteries and clear your mind. The sense of adrenaline may make you forget about them.

Moreover, determine for how long you plan to gamble. Is that hour, two, or five? Don’t follow your deadline blindly. If you notice that things are not going well or your concentration has simply gone down, stand up from the table.

Monitoring Spending

Here comes the most challenging part. Since everything is happening too fast, it can be challenging to monitor your wins and losses. That is the reason I recommend you stick to flat wagers until you master this part of the process.

Example: If your hand is worth $50, then stick to it for many rounds in a row. It will be easier to make calculations this way.

Transitioning between Electronic and Live Roulette

It won’t be challenging to adapt to electronic roulette after playing the traditional one. When I first did that, there were only three things that bothered me, but I solved them effortlessly.

Adapting Strategies Accordingly

Play electronic roulette the same way you would play the traditional one. Differences do not exist regarding strategies. You only need to be ready to implement those strategies fast. Fortunately, an automated machine lets you complete everything with a few clicks.

Social Elements

Keep in mind that electronic roulette isn’t for everyone. If you are a person who loves to chat with other players, this may not be the right choice for you. Yet, if you still want to test it, get ready lacking interaction.

There are no dealers with whom you can discuss the outcome of rounds. At the same time, other players won’t be too close to you. So, get ready to have discussions with yourself.

Psychological Considerations

Lack of noise and crowds can be good for improving focus. At the same time, it makes things static. I sometimes become sleepy when playing electronic roulette because of that factor.

So, if you notice experiencing something similar, you should perhaps consider another roulette variation, like live dealer roulette.

And Now?

As you can see, electronic roulette comes with pros and cons. All the strategies I talked about can be used for any type of roulette. The only key element you must remember to master electronic roulette is to act fast.
